Alpaca Walks

Welcome to our dedicated area for Joe's Alpaca Walks - North Yorkshire

Alpaca walks with our Huacaya Alpacas & Llamas from our farm here beside the river Ure here in North Yorkshire starting beside the old Aldwark Toll Bridge, the walk is 2 miles long.

You will learn about Alpacas and the difference between Llamas, walks last approximately 1 hour but may take longer depending on the size of the group on the day, our walks are suitable for both adults and children.

Walking footwear is needed and dress appropriately for the time of year.

* Two adults with 2 llamas - £35.00.

*One adult with 1 alpaca - £15.00.

*2 adults sharing 1 alpaca - £30.00.

*1 adult + 1 child under 10 yrs old with 1 alpaca, 2 leads will be provided - £30.00.

*Children over 10 yrs old can either have their own alpaca or share with an adult - £15.00 each.

No wheelchairs or prams are allowed on the walk due to uneven ground on the walk and to prevent spooking our boys.

We do only have set walk dates, these can be viewed on our online shop when booking on to a walk

 

HOW TO BOOK ON TO A WALK OR PURCHASE GIFT VOUCHERS

If you are booking on to a walk with a gift voucher please contact us by telephone.

Minimum of 2 people + 2 alpacas per booking.

Please be patient waiting for your gift vouchers by email.

Sorry NO spectators, prams, wheelchairs or dogs are allowed on any of our walks.

Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months

Walks Terms & Conditions

Everyone taking part in any of our walks must agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Bookings

Bookings are only taken through our online shop and payments are taken in advance only through our online shop.

All bookings are non-refundable and will unfortunately NOT allow any other dates to be offered if the client cancelled within 48 hours prior to their walk taking place.

Cancellations

If we had to cancel your walk booking due to bad weather, we will allow you to book an alternative date.

Health and Safety

Our walks are considered to be safe, providing you and everyone with you follow our instructions at all times.

Participants of our walks must be willing to listen and take instruction prior to handling the alpacas or llama on the walk.

Parents must instruct their children in their care at all times during their walk.

All walks are carried out outdoor and are on uneven country footpaths and roads.

We ask that you dress for the time of year and the weather and come with suitable walking footwear.

Sorry, dogs are not allowed on our walks

Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

Vouchers can be upgraded at the time of booking with any additional fee paid in advance.
